In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the central government working conference on poverty alleviation and practically promote the policy of "Thousands enterprises to help thousands villages", Meining is working hard to help the poor of Zhoujiagou village in Tangjia countryside of Chuanshan district solving the problems and improving the infrastructure and appearance of the villages.
Our purpose is to help the poor increase their income. The following actions have been taken:
(1) Donation: In order to carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation in helping the poor and the socialist core values, improving the living conditions of the villagers, we contributed 20,000 RMB to the poor.
(2) Improve the infrastructure of the village: in order to solve the daily water consumption problem during the water supply shutdown, five additional wells and supporting facilities were added in the suitable location of the village. Our company granted a subsidy of 2,000 RMB for each well.
(3) Industry support: after examining the soil, climate and other environmental conditions in the village, we recommended a kind of melon to the villagers which can be used in medicine should be planted because of its high economic value. It has long picking period and only need simple management. At present, more than 320 acres of melons have been planted in the village, 600 acres of melons have been planted in the neighbor villages, and 2000 acres have been planted in other villages of the city. The village can directly increase the income by more than 1.28 million RMB each year, the income of the neighbor villages can reach more than 2.4 million RMB, and the other relevant income can be increased by more than 8 million RMB. Besides, the company invited experts of Sichuan Agricultural University to improve the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine technology in each key process. The budget is about 200,000 RMB and the related fee has been paid 80,000 RMB.
(4) Support for poor students: donated 20,000 RMB to poor students to help them finish their studies. If they wish to work in Meining after graduation, they will be given priority.
(5) Job opportunity: the company will provide job opportunities for the villagers who are 18 years old to 45 years old .If they would like to work in the company, they will be employed priority.

The company donated five cattle worth of 50,000 RMB to Dingbao Village，Fuqiao Town，Chuanshan District
The company donated one cattle worth of 10,000 yuan to Jiufeng Village, Hesha Town,Chuanshan District
The company donated two cattle worth of 20,000 yuan in Maoshan Village, Xinhui Town, Pengxi County.
The company donated 10,000 to Charity Association of Anju District.
